Calendar & Scheduling

Configure working hours, availability rules, and time-slot settings for your studio and team.

Set your working hours

Navigate to Settings > Working Hours in your dashboard. You can set different opening and closing times for each day of the week.

For each day you can:

  • Set one or more time ranges (e.g. 09:00-12:00 and 14:00-18:00 for a lunch break)
  • Mark the day as closed so no bookings are accepted
  • Copy the same hours to multiple days at once

Working hours apply studio-wide by default. Individual team members can override them with their own availability (see Per-artist availability).

Block time off

To block a holiday, vacation, or personal break, click Add Time Off on the calendar page. Select the date range and, optionally, which team members the block applies to.

Blocked time:

  • Removes the affected slots from your public booking page immediately
  • Does not cancel existing bookings (you need to handle those separately)
  • Can be set for a single person or the entire studio

Configure time-slot intervals

Time-slot intervals control how granular your booking grid is. Go to Settings > Calendar and choose an interval:

  • 15 minutes - maximum flexibility, good for quick services
  • 30 minutes - the default, works for most businesses
  • 60 minutes - best when all services are roughly one hour

You can also set a buffer time between appointments (e.g. 10 minutes for cleanup). Buffer time is added after every booking automatically.

Per-artist availability

Each team member can have their own working hours and days off. This is useful when artists work on different schedules or part-time.

To configure:

  1. Go to Settings > Team
  2. Click on the team member's name
  3. Toggle Custom availability on
  4. Set their individual working hours for each day

When a client books, they only see available slots for the specific person they selected.

Booking lead time and limits

Control how far in advance clients can book and how much notice you need. Go to Settings > Calendar:

  • Minimum lead time - e.g. 2 hours, so clients cannot book at the last second
  • Maximum booking window - e.g. 60 days, so your calendar is not open indefinitely

These settings help you plan your workload and avoid surprises. Adjust them anytime as your business needs change.
