Notifications

SMS and WhatsApp reminders, booking confirmations, and marketing campaigns.

Automatic booking confirmations

Every booking triggers an instant confirmation to the client by email. This includes:

  • Date, time, and service details
  • The team member they booked with
  • A link to cancel or reschedule
  • Your studio address and contact information

You can also enable SMS or WhatsApp confirmations as an additional channel in Settings > Notifications.

Appointment reminders

Automated reminders reduce no-shows significantly. Configure them in Settings > Notifications:

  • Timing - choose when reminders are sent (e.g. 24 hours, 2 hours before)
  • Channel - email, SMS, WhatsApp, or a combination
  • Content - reminders include the booking details and a link to manage the appointment

Most studios see a 30-50% reduction in no-shows after enabling reminders.

WhatsApp automation setup

To send messages via WhatsApp, you need to connect your WhatsApp Business account:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > WhatsApp
  2. Follow the setup wizard to connect your WhatsApp Business number
  3. Verify your phone number through the WhatsApp Business API
  4. Choose which message types to send via WhatsApp (confirmations, reminders, follow-ups)

WhatsApp messages have significantly higher open rates than email or SMS, making them the most effective channel for appointment reminders.

Review request after visit

Automatically ask clients for feedback after their appointment. When enabled:

  • A review request is sent a configurable time after the appointment (default: 2 hours)
  • Clients rate their experience and leave a comment
  • Reviews appear on your public booking page
  • You can respond to reviews from your dashboard

Enable review requests in Settings > Notifications > Post-visit.

Notification preferences

Control which notifications you and your team receive in Settings > Notifications:

  • New booking - notified when a client books
  • Cancellation - notified when a booking is cancelled
  • Daily summary - a morning email with today's schedule
  • New review - notified when a client leaves a review

Each team member can set their own notification preferences from their profile.
